We bought the silver cross reef 2 special edition before my first daughter was born and we absolutely love it. It’s the perfect size to go through doorways without an issue, it looks absolutely gorgeous and the fold down bassinet was perfect for us also having a dog as well. It fits so easily in our car and doesn’t struggle on our Lake District walks. We absolutely love it!
It is a lovely thing and handles very well, my only annoyance is the mechanism for the fold of the chassis sometimes will not fold down and then struggles to click in for use. I have the ganache and it is a gorgeous colour the only annoyance is that the finish on the metal is so easily scratches and chipped it’s a real shame, also the car seats should be able to be ordered in the ganache colour it annoys me they don’t offer it so it matches!
I bought my pushchair 18months ago for my newborn. I find it’s a great pushchair in terms of of durability and feels so sturdy compared to lots of other pushchairs. The downsides would be I found it to be very heavy to lift in and out of the boot of the car. Also I ordered the ganache special edition but the metal work on the frame and round the edges of the seat and carrycot mark so easily so didn’t stay looking smart for long. I feel silver cross need to address the quality of the paint on the metal to prevent this from happening so easily.
Really pleased with all the products in the bundle. My main priority was safety and you can just tell they are top quality. As we live in the countryside the pram has been brilliant for walks. And so stylish too.
